Sneak Peek at the 2019 Hyundai Lineup

Change is on the horizon for some of the vehicles in the Hyundai lineup. Here’s a preview of what we can look forward to for 2019.

Updated 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

The Hyundai Ioniq is available as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, or a fully electric vehicle. This model year will bring standard automatic emergency braking to the affordable Hybrid SEL trim, as well as new and improved voice recognition technology.

Updated 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

The 2019 Sante Fe takes the place of the Santa Fe Sport, which means that the new Santa Fe has two rows with seating for five people. A redesigned exterior with standard LED headlamps brings added visibility to the driver. The old full-size Santa Fe will now be called the Santa Fe XL.

2019 Hyundai Elantra Enters 6th Model Year

The new 2019 Hyundai Elantra boasts major changes to its exterior design, starting with the front end. Triangular headlights and LED projectors make a bold first impression. An updated rear bumper and three wheel options also make a major impact on the new look. The interior also receives updates, including a new infotainment system, making this compact car a compelling option.

2019 Hyundai Kona Electric Electrifies New York Auto Show

In the automotive world, you typically don’t find a combination of a rugged vehicle ready for an active lifestyle and a vehicle that is eco-friendly – until now. Last month, Hyundai introduced the all-new 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric, a brand-new electric crossover that can serve as a vehicle for adventures.

Similar to the current gasoline-powered model, the Kona Electric puts out a sculpted, athletic look. Its front fascia has changed, though, with a closed grille that hints at the model’s eco-friendly powertrain. This powertrain will allow the Kona Electric to receive a segment-leading 250-mile estimated range, while putting out 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque.

With this type of range and power, this eco-friendly crossover will appeal to those consumers who are both active and eco-conscious. “Our new Kona Electric crossover is a stylish and efficient compact CUV, tailored to the needs of customers who pursue eco-focused active lifestyles requiring generous range,” explained Mike O’Brien, vice president of Product, Corporate, and Digital Planning for Hyundai Motor America.

Consumers will also find that each model comes standard with a floating touchscreen, which gives you access to Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and Hyundai’s Smart Sense suite of safety technologies.2019 Hyundai Kona Electric
